The playmaker got just 15 minutes in Milan’s clash against Vicenza last night and thus got to play from the start in the behind-closed-doors friendly against Pergolettese today. He didn’t disappoint, bagging a hat-trick in the first half.
De Keteleare opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a penalty, which he took with his left foot. He followed that up with another goal in the 19th minute, finding the back of the with a neat left-footed finish. Then, he bagged another one with his head in the 25th minute.
In other words, it was a near-perfect hat-trick for De Ketelaere and almost a flawless one, given that no one else scored in between his goals. Hopefully, he can build on this and show his qualities for Milan in the league as well.
