Several sources have confirmed that during the friendly against Copenhagen, De Ketelaere did not even play for a single minute. The 21-year-old Belgian attacking midfielder continues to be linked with a move to Milan and he not take the field in the 120 minutes played by his side in Wageningen against the Danish club.

Of course there then needed to be clarification on whether the Belgian was not physically at his best or if the choice was related to the transfer market, given that Noa Lang did play.

According to Belgian source HLN (via MilanEye), De Ketelaere was kept out of Club Brugge’s friendly against Copenhagen in mutual agreement with the club due to Milan’s concrete interest in the player, certainly fuelling rumours that a move to Italy could be on the cards.
