As revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky Italia this evening, AC Milan are getting closer and closer to signing Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak.
Several teams are interested in the 19-year-old, who had a great season with Stuttgart this past campaign, despite the fact that he arrived in January.
Now, he could be on the move once more as several teams are interested in his services, including Milan. The Rossoneri had initially set their sights on Lovren and Manolas, but the Turkish starlet’s release clause of €15m changed their minds.
As claimed by Di Marzio, Milan have even upped their contract proposal to Kabak, in order to fight off the competition. As a result of this move, Kabak is now very close to the San Siro side, and a response could even arrive tomorrow.
Should he say ‘yes’ to a move, then Milan will have to pay the €15m release clause to Stuttgart, which given his potential is a very low transfer fee.
