Di Marzio: Chelsea open to Lukaku loan – Milan could make an attempt

Chelsea have opened up to the idea of loaning out Romelu Lukaku and AC Milan could potentially make an attempt to sign him, a report claims.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the news coming from The Athletic regarding Chelsea being open to a loan deal for Lukaku has been confirmed, and now Roma are dreaming of the Belgian as a late attacking reinforcement.

However, the Giallorossi are only open to negotiating if Chelsea were open to a loan that did not have an obligation to buy. Roma would pay his salary and a minimum fee for the loan.

However, they won’t be the only side in the running as several clubs are looking for a forward on loan in the last part of the transfer window. There may also be an attempt by Milan, as per Di Marzio.

Lukaku also opened up to the idea of returning to Italy, after being in talks with Juventus for a long time before negotiations ended.
