Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his website that – after an agreement was found some weeks ago – the signing of Ibrahimovic’s new deal has also arrived and he will remain a Rossoneri player for the 2022-23 campaign.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara went directly to the Swede on Lake Garda where he is staying in a villa and collected the signature of the 40-year-old, who will remain at Milan despite undergoing surgery on a knee injury that will keep him out until the new year.

The deal will have a fixed salary lower than his previous deals at the club, as Ibra will earn a figure of around €1-1.5m net, to which bonuses will be added based on personal objectives, namely how many goals and assists he manages.
