Di Marzio: Inter send player-plus-cash offer for Milan-linked Udinese star

It looks like Inter will win the race to sign Lazar Samardzic from Udinese despite links with AC Milan among other clubs, a report claims.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, the Nerazzurri have made a first offer to Udinese for the Serbia international worth €15m plus Giovanni Fabbian going the other way, with a buy-back option for the 20-year-old.

The negotiation with Udinese is now in full swing but nothing is closed yet, even on the Fabbian side. Negotiations between Inter and Samardzic have not started, not even regarding his salary.

However, Inter are very interested in the player and are now preparing to seal the deal. Andrea Sottil fielded him in 37 Serie A games out of the 38 available last season, and he amassed 5 goals plus 4 assists.

Milan were heavily linked with Samardzic up until a couple of weeks ago, before eventually deciding to go for Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah.
