Di Marzio: Milan’s deal for Lazio youngster could be sealed on Wednesday

AC Milan could seal the agreement to sign Lazio youngster Luka Romero on Wednesday with the attacking midfielder keen on making the switch, a report claims.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the young attacker is going to be leaving Lazio at the end of the season and it seems that Milan will be his destination.

The 18-year-old will provide a depth option in the attack for Stefano Pioli but he is not necessarily expected to go straight into the first team setup.

Either way, the agreement could be found with the player as early as Wednesday which would make him one of the first signings that the club has made since Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara is sacked.

He won’t be the first as Marco Sportiello is set for his medical on Tuesday which will presumably be followed with a fairly swift official announcement as a new Milan goalkeeper.
