Di Marzio: Torino reach agreement with AC Milan for Laxalt

According to Gianluca Di Marzio during tonight’s show on Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, Torino are closing in on the signing of Diego Laxalt, who is destined to leave the Rossoneri this summer.

The feeling is that the Uruguayan will receive very little playing time this season, as Giampaolo also has Hernandez and Rodriguez at his disposal for the left-back position. Just one year after joining, therefore, Laxalt is already on the way out.

As stated by Di Marzio on the show, Torino have reached an agreement with AC Milan on the basis of a loan with an option to buy. Furthermore, Il Toro have agreed to pay the player’s salary for the initial loan period.

Meanwhile, as pointed out by Calciomercato.com, Atalanta have abandoned their pursuit of Laxalt after failing to reach an agreement with the player on the salary. Therefore, Torino move seems like the most likely option.
