Di Marzio: Milan retain interest in Zaniolo but summer plan is unknown

Nicolo Zaniolo was heavily linked with a move to AC Milan last month and the Rossoneri even submitted an official offer to Roma. However, it wasn’t enough and they will have to try again in the summer.

The Zaniolo case has caught a lot of attention in the last few days as the player rejected a move to Bournemouth. The latter offered around €30m to Roma and his rejection upset the Gillorossi fans, who haven’t acted appropriately since.

A summer move this seems to be on the cards for the winger, who remains on Milan’s wish list according to Gianluca Di Marzio (Via ChiamarsiBomber). However, it remains to be seen if the Rossoneri are willing to make the investment in the summer.

Roma want no less than the €30m offered by Bournemouth and this might be too much for Milan, who have other signings planned for the summer as well. In any case, they are still monitoring the situation and will do so until the summer.
