Dinamo Zagreb star Orsic praises ‘great club’ Milan but insists: “We have studied them”

Dinamo Zagreb’s star man Mislav Orsic has insisted that he and his team-mates have studied how to deal with AC Milan ahead of tomorrow night’s game.

Milan’s back to back defeats against Chelsea in the Champions League has seen them slip from top of the group to third, knowing that they now need wins against Zagreb and Red Bull Salzburg to make absolutely sure of progressing to the knockout stages.

They face a Dinamo side that are eight points clear of second in the league, though the Rossoneri triumphed 3-1 against the Croatians at San Siro in the second game of the current group stages with goals from Olivier Giroud, Alexis Saelemaekers and Tommaso Pobega.

Orsic spoke alongside Dinamo head coach Ante Cacic to preview what is another potentially huge European night for his side, with his comments relayed by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it.

“The match in Milan was difficult for us, but we played well. We conceded unfortunate goals and then it was difficult to come back. However we have studied them in the field. Now each of us has a ‘picture’ of them,” he began.

“We have to be brave, they have a great team and fans. But we need to be braver and more determined. Each game is different, they won’t be in a hurry either. We will have to prepare for different phases of the game.

“We have a great match ahead of us, against a great club. There isn’t much to talk about, we have an important match against a great club. The fans will push us.”
