Victor Eletu has been one of the more interesting players to rise through the Milan youth ranks in recent years and it is fair to say that hopes have been high for his future. However, it seems unlikely that he will see a future at San Siro.
Eletu to depart?
According to MilanVibes, the Nigerian’s future is likely to be far away from Milanello. He is intrigued by Serie C and a move away from the Futuro project with a clear progression plan would certainly take his fancy.
Indeed, there is plenty of interest there and Pescara seem the likeliest to get a deal done. As Passione Pescara writes – via the MilanVibes report – an agreement has been reached between the Rossoneri and Pescara with a 50% future clause inserted into the deal.
In short, this will mean that the club do not completely throw away any future interest in the midfielder. However, he will be allowed the chance to progress away from Milanello, potentially in a better environment for him.
Considering the stance which the Diavolo have taken with Francesco Camarda and Christian Comotto, this is a clear indication of their belief that he will not progress substantially from where he is now.
He’s ready for a new chapter, and Pescara have a deal ready for him.
