CM: Empoli defender has chance to show why Milan should sign him

Empoli defender Fabiano Parisi has got a chance to show AC Milan why they should sign him to be Theo Hernandez’s backup, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Fabiano Parisi is a player that Milan have been linked with in the past given they lack depth behind Hernandez at left-back.

The Frenchman is injured for Saturday evening’s match against Empoli and that means that Fode Ballo-Toure is making his first start of the season. He is a player that Stefano Pioli has not shown much faith in so far since he joined the club.

Parisi will be playing in this game at left-back for Empoli and if he were to put in a very good display, it could persuade Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara to make a move for him in the near future.

Fiorentina, Lazio and Nice have all been linked with him too but he’s under contract until June 2025.
