Fichajes: Milan tempted as Spurs make versatile midfielder available for €20m

AC Milan have set their sights on Tottenham playmaker Giovani Lo Celso as a potential future reinforcement, according to a report from the Spanish press.

As per the latest from Fichajes.net, Lo Celso has ’emerged as one of the most intriguing options’ for the Rossoneri, given that his contract expires in the summer of 2025 and he seems to be far from untouchable for Spurs.

His playing time at Tottenham has been limited since he joined and that has generated speculation about a possible exit in the summer of 2024. Milan had Lo Celso on their radar under Paolo Maldini and he remains a target given his versatility.

Spurs, for their part, seem willing to listen to offers and they could be willing to let him leave for a sum close to €20m. This figure is not exorbitant and falls into the sweet spot of investments that Milan seem to be happy to make.

Lo Celso can play either as a playmaker or a bit further back as a box-to-box midfielder, while he has experience at international level and in the Champions League too, though a bit of a questionable injury history.
