Fiorentina owner Commisso announces his ‘intention’ regarding Milan target Vlahovic

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has admitted his desire to keep Dusan Vlahovic but also did not rule out a potential sale.

Commisso spoke today at the press conference held to celebrate the mathematical survival achieved by Fiorentina in a difficult season. The owner of La Viola also paused to talk about his their main jewel Vlahovic, who is attracting interest from a number of top clubs.

The reason for this is quite obvious: the Serbia international has had an incredible breakthrough season in Serie A scoring 21 goals so far with 17 coming in the year 2021. The Italian-American president tried to clarify his future but he did not seem to close the door to a possible sale.

“We want to please Vlahovic. In the last two weeks there have been no meetings, however, we are waiting for the end of the season and we will have an answer but the intention is to keep him,” he said (via MilanLive).

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that Maldini and Massara will get to work for a centre-forward, to give Pioli a real No.9 to support Ibrahimovic, and Milan’s radars continue to move on Vlahovic.
