Footmercato: Sevilla and Leeds among clubs interested in Milan outcast

Fodé Ballo-Touré is looking for a new club ahead of the 2024-25 season and there are various teams in England that have expressed an interest, according to a report.

Ballo-Touré has returned to Milan after a season on loan at Fulham which did not go to plan, given he made just six appearances in the Premier League. He is not expected to stay though, given he is not a part of the plans of Paulo Fonseca.

According to Footmercato, Ballo-Toure found himself in the sights of Besiktas, who have been very active in this summer transfer window so. While an agreement has been reached between the Istanbul club and Milan, the player made it clear he does not wish to move to Turkey and has other plans.

Moreover, several English and Spanish clubs are interested in the 27-year-old player. Watford and Leeds in the Championship are closely monitoring the ex-Monaco man, while Sevilla and Celta Vigo are keen too.

The Rossoneri cannot expect to get a sizeable transfer fee from Ballo-Toure’s departure given they only paid a few million euros and the last couple of seasons have not gone to plan, however his exit would free wages too and a spot in the squad.
