The 2020-21 season is about to end and, despite the fact that some teams like Milan and Juventus still have a lot to play for, reflections have begun on the winners and losers from the current campaign. The well-known magazine FourFourTwo has drawn up the ranking of the top 50 coaches of the year, and on the list of the best there is Stefano Pioli who is sat in 17th place, as MilanNews24 writes.

It is perhaps no surprise that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is leading the podium, followed by Inter’s Antonio Conte and Atletico Madrid’s Simeone. The list also includes Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini, Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi and Sassuolo’s Roberto De Zerbi, respectively in ninth, 28th and 40th position. Juve’s Andrea Pirlo has been snubbed altogether.
