The playmaker arrived from Real Madrid in the summer on a season-long dry loan and he has impressed so far, racking up three goals and one assist in 10 appearances across Serie A and the Europe League, with quite a few of those coming off the bench.

This has led to suggestions that Milan are already thinking about sitting at the negotiating table with Los Blancos to try and discuss a permanent deal for the 21-year-old, with mixed reports on whether they would be willing to sell.

According to DefensaCentral, Brahim has dictated his own conditions to his parent club regarding his possible return: he will head back to base as long as he knows he is guaranteed playing time and therefore will not accept a situation like last season.

If Real were not able to offer him that, the hypothesis of him renewing his loan at Milan for a further year comes into play, but then there is another issue as to whether the Rossoneri would accept that or look for a more long-term solution.
