Since Ruben Amorim arrived as the new head coach, signing a centre-back has been a big priority, along with a striker which ended up being Goncalo Ramos. While several Portuguese names were initially linked for the position, it seems the new defender could come from spain.
Indeed, as confirmed yesterday, Milan have revitslised negotiations with Lazio and the entourage of Gila. The former management was already in talks with the 25-year-old and the Rossoneri thus haven’t started entirely from scratch, which is good.
Today’s newspaper naturally highlighted the links and how Gila is getting closer to a move. Not only that, but Ramos arriving and Modric potentially staying shows what Milan are about this summer. More signings are planned too, so it could get even better.
