Things have certainly gone a bit quiet in the incoming front for Milan, with the management seemingly more focused on exits for the time being. Seeing as they spent around €100m on Mario Gila and Goncalo Ramos, it’s certainly reasonable to focus on departures.
That said, the Rossoneri haven’t stopped evaluating targets on the mercato. If anything, their pursuits are even more advanced now than a few weeks ago, with players like Konstantinos Karetsas being linked with the club. Those negotiations tend to take time.
Another target has emerged for the midfield, it seems, with both Corriere dello Sport and QS naming Pierre-Emile Højbjerg as a candidate. The 30-year-old has a lot of experience and would certainly add strength to the midfield.
The last midfield signing from Marseille also turned out pretty well…
