GdS: Gazidis hoping to bring Milan an extra €8m per year from new shirt sponsor deal

AC Milan are working hard to bolster their revenues and continue improving the accounts, and they are close to agreeing a new sponsorship deal.

As reported by MilanNews, the Rossoneri leadership are close to signing an agreement with Wefox Italia, a German-origin insurance company. From next season they are expected to be welcomed as a new shirt sponsor but not on the front or the sleeve, rather on the back below the numbers.

They cite this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport in claiming that this new agreement will bring between €6m and €8m per year into the accounts of the club.

It comes after MilanNews reported that CEO Ivan Gazidis is working tirelessly to improve the revenue of the Rossoneri and wants to increase how much the club make from two current agreements: namely the deal with Emirates worth €14m per year and the PUMA one worth €13m per year.
