As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), knives, smoke bombs and a telescopic baton were seized from a group of Dinamo Zagreb ultras during the checks carried out before the Champions League game at 18:45 CEST tonight.

Not only were the items seized, but 14 of Dinamo Zagreb’s ultra members were arrested in Milano because they were armed with weapons, and they will now be dealt with by the authorities.

In addition, there is a large deployment of law enforcement agencies in the city to prevent incidents taking place between the two sets of supporters with around 4-5,000 Dinamo fans expected for the fixture.

Now, we hope that the remainder of the evening is able to pass without any incident, given the enormity of the occasion.
