Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s appearance at the Sanremo Festival next week is dominating a lot of the headlines surrounding AC Milan at the moment.

Ibra will be on stage every night except Wednesday when he will be on the pitch at San Siro in the match against Udinese. To prevent the Swede from commuting between Milan and Sanremo, the player will stay for a few days on the Riviera where he will train with help of a Milan trainer and a physiotherapist on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) this morning provides some updates regarding Ibra’s presence next week, stating that there is chaos over Ibrahimovic’s weekly training program. The 39-year-old seems to have obtained the green light from Milan to work alone on the Ligurian coast.
For now it is only certain that Ibra will train on the Riviera in the last two days of the Festival (Friday and Saturday) before the trip to Hellas Verona on the Sunday. The program of the previous days, including the Wednesday in which Milan-Udinese will be played, is yet to be decided.
Three options are on the table. The first is to use the Sanremo Municipal Stadium, where the Sanremese – a Serie D team – plays. The other is to use the Ospitaletti stadium about 6km away. Finally the most imaginative idea: to cross the border with France and work at La Turbie Training Center in Monaco.
