This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how the knee injury sustained by Ismael Bennacer – who will be out for at least six months – has shifted the focus of the Rossoneri management to the midfield, where two signings will now be needed.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek of Chelsea is the main target, and the player has already given the green light to potentially joining Milan. Now Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara must negotiate with the Blues, who are asking for €25m to sell.
This fee could still drop by a few million given that his contract expires in a year (2024) and Chelsea also have to make several sales in the summer.
