GdS: Chukwueze, Musah and Camarda get a run-out but Milan fall to Trento

Samuel Chukwueze got his first unofficial start yesterday evening as AC Milan hosted Serie C side Trento, as did Yunus Musah, but it was not a positive outing result-wise.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) recall how Chukwueze played about an hour but didn’t score while his team-mates didn’t either, which admittedly were largely the reserves from the Silvio Berlusconi Trophy the night before in Monza.

The 15-year-old Francesco Camarda even came off the bench, which says a lot about the experimental nature of the game from Stefano Pioli’s point of view.

Leon Sipos netted the winner for Trento as they emerged 1-0 victors, with the striker having come through the academy of Dinamo Zagreb.

Now the team are preparing for the next friendlies on Saturday and Sunday against the Tunisians of the Etoile du Sahel and Novara respectively, aperitifs for the league debut against Bologna on the 21st.
