GdS: Fofana present at Monaco training but wants to force Milan move

Youssouf Fofana has been present at AS Monaco training today but he is still looking to push his move to AC Milan through as soon as possible.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Fofana has not chosen the path of skipping training to force a move through but he is getting restless when it comes to his future.

Now that he has returned from his holiday following the 2024 European Championship, Fofana would like to have his future resolved and he sees it away from Monaco, where he has just one year left on his contract and has no appetite to sign an extension.

The interest from Milan has been there for a long time and Fofana has already agreed on personal terms that would see him earn €3m per season.

There has been some very clear proof that he is only interested in Milan because West Ham United have actually offered the full €35m that Monaco are asking for, but the move is not getting off of the ground because he is waiting for Milan and Monaco to strike a deal instead.

Milan are thought to be readying a new bid of €20m and a 10% sell-on clause to see if Monaco will accept it.
