De Ketelaere is the perfect addition for Milan since he can play both as a No.10 and a right-winger in Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 formation. Furthermore, at the age of 21, he’s an investment for the future that fits Elliott’s project perfectly.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan will present an offer of €32m in the next few days. It will be their final offer and they will make this clear to Club Brugge, who will have to decide whether to satisfy De Ketelaere’s dream or not.
Late into July, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara simply cannot afford to spend more time on De Ketelaere and that’s why an answer will be needed this week. In case of failure, they will shift focus to other targets for the attacking trio.
