La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) writes how the schedule of commitments for Furlani is increasingly intense. Yesterday he was in London to finalise the signings of Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic, a double signing from Chelsea which will cost Milan €26m.

Furlani was in the English capital to lead negotiations with the Blues, who have the need to offload players no longer deemed a key part of their project given the amount they have spent and the size of their squad.

Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic – who play mostly as box-to-box midfielder and right winger respectively – both struggled for consistent playing time last season and have been earmarked by Milan as useful reinforcements.

After Sandro Tonali’s sale to Newcastle United the midfield is in need of being rebuilt, while the right flank has needed addressing for some time.
