GdS: Milan make enquiry over Atletico Madrid striker Maldini and Massara admire

AC Milan are on the hunt for a new centre-forward and they seem to be keeping their options open having made a call about Alvaro Morata, a report claims.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) talks about how RC Lens striker Lois Openda appears to have become the new number one target of the management after numerous scouting missions, with an asking price set.

However, the paper adds that Morata is another forward that Milan have on their list, and someone at Milan has definitely made an enquiry about the former Juventus man over the phone in view of the summer.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara admire his profile, he has just become captain of Spain, he is not and never will be a prolific goalscorer but he knows about playing football at the highest level.

The next step for him will be to understand what his future at Atletico Madrid looks like. For Milan however the next step is to understand whether they will be in the Champions League, which brings a guaranteed extra €40m to the accounts.
