As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Pioli is pondering some potential rotations ahead of the game in midweek, with the game against Lazio to come at the weekend and with the two legs against Inter in his sights.

Given that both Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer will have to serve a one-game suspension, Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw should get the nod as the centre-back pairing for the game against the Grigiorossi.

There will also be a possible rest for Olivier Giroud, with the Frenchman having to have his workload carefully managed following the Achilles problem he sustained in the Napoli game.

One of either Ante Rebic or Divock Origi are likely to replace him, according to what the newspaper are reporting today.
