GdS: Probable XIs for Dinamo Zagreb vs. Milan – Rebic, Leao and CDK all to start

AC Milan and Dinamo Zagreb face off in Croatia tonight with the mission clear for Stefano Pioli’s side: win at all costs to keep alive Champions League knockout stage hopes.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pioli will make almost forced choices in defence with Fikayo Tomori suspended, Alessandro Florenzi injured and Davide Calabria out too.

Ciprian Tatarusanu should be in goal with Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Matteo Gabbia and Theo Hernandez as the back four from right to left, and a ‘first choice’ double pivot of Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali ahead of them.

An attacking front four is predicted by the paper, with Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud returning to their respective positions and Charles De Ketelaere down as the playmaker, with Ante Rebic tipped to start on the right wing for only the second time ever under Pioli at Milan.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Rebic, De Ketelaere, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Dinamo Zagreb XI (3-5-2): Livakovic; Ristovski, Sutalo, Peric; Spikic, Baturina, Misic, Ademi, Ljubicic; Petkovic, Orsic.
