AC Milan will take on PSV Eindhoven in their final friendly of the winter break today in the Netherlands, and Stefano Pioli is expected to field an experimental XI.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), Pioli is expected to entrust Antonio Mirante with the role of starting goalkeeper ahead of Ciprian Tatarusanu. Ahead of him should be a back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Sergino Dest.
The midfield double pivot should be Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer, with De Ketelaere expected to be the central attacking midfielder.
The rest of the attack should be comprised of Alexis Saelemaekers on the right winger, Yacine Adli over Rafael Leao on the left wing – given the Portuguese only returned to training on boxing day – and Ante Rebic leading the line.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Mirante; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Dest; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere, Adli; Rebic.
