GdS: Probable XIs for Torino vs. Milan – same defence and midfield but forced changes in attack

AC Milan have had little time to enjoy their 3-0 victory over Juventus as they are back in Turin to face Torino tonight.

Pioli will be without striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who is expected to be out for the season with a knee injury – and winger Alexis Saelemaekers, who picked up a suspension in the game against Juve due to the accumulation of too many yellow cards.

According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal protected by a back four of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez from right to left. Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will be the double pivot in front of them.

Samu Castillejo will take Saelemaekers’ place on the right wing with Brahim Diaz and Hakan Calhanoglu keeping their spots at No.10 and on the left wing respectively, and Ante Rebic the centre-forward.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Castillejo, Diaz, Calhanoglu; Rebic.

Probable Torino XI (3-5-2): Sirigu; Bremer, Lyanco, Buongiorno; Singo, Baselli, Mandragora, Linetty, Rodriguez; Zaza, Belotti.
