According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Pioli will field a back four consisting of Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

There will be a change in midfield as Rade Krunic will come into the double pivot to give Yunus Musah a rest. Tijjani Reijnders is tipped to keep his place, as is Ruben Loftus-Cheek who will play slightly further ahead.

Samuel Chukwueze will get a chance on the right wing given Christian Pulisic is injured, with Rafael Leao on the opposite flank and Olivier Giroud the centre-forward.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Krunic, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Lecce XI (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Pongracic, Baschirotto, Gallo; Kaba, Ramadani, Rafia; Strefezza, Krstovic, Banda.
