There was a real mixed bag of performances from the AC Milan squad during last night’s 1-1 draw against Udinese last night, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The paper (via MilanLive) have published their player ratings for the game against Udinese and understandably they have given Zlatan Ibrahimovic the title of man of the match with a score of 7 out of 10, but he alone was not enough to earn the three points.
Alessandro Florenzi and Alessio Romagnoli were deserving of praise too as they got a 6.5 for keeping Deulofeu quiet, while the substitutes Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali came on to ‘fix the midfield’ plus Junior Messias and Samu Castillejo injecting life into the attack, so they got the same mark.
A 6 was given to Mike Maignan who was unfortunate on Beto’s goal, and also to Saelemaekers who fought hard on the flanks but without generating much. Fikayo Tomori got a 5.5 as he seemed a bit ‘confused’ and the same score went to Brahim Diaz too as he started brightly but then tailed off.
A 5 went to Theo Hernandez who is now ‘in total decline’ as the French full-back is distracted and lost the duel with Molina in his lane. Rade Krunic tried to act as a wild card but frankly did not contribute much, but the worst rating of 4.5 was given to both Bakayoko and Bennacer who made so many errors.
