Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) report that Renato Sanches is getting closer and closer to joining the Rossoneri. Milan will have no issues in finding an agreement with Lille over transfer fee having offered €12m and with €15m the demands of the Ligue 1 club due to his contract situation.
For Milan it is more important to first find an agreement with the player who, in recent months, was asking for a salary of €6m net per season. However, in recent weeks the talks with his agent Jorge Mendes have brought those requests down to around €4m per year on a four-year deal.
The negotiation has entered its crucial phase and there seems to be a great desire to close the operation in a short time, while Sanches would like to close the conversation as soon as possible to enjoy his summer holidays.
