GdS: Sustainability, sporting results and stadium – Cardinale’s plan for Milan

Gerry Cardinale and RedBird officially become the owners of AC Milan at the start of this season and the American has made it clear what his plan is. From a sustainable project to the stadium, the keys are clear.

The season perhaps hasn’t gone exactly as Milan expected, currently righting for a spot in the top four in Serie A. On the other hand, they are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and have collected a big chunk of revenue from the competition.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Cardinale’s plan mainly relies on three pillars: Sustainability, sporting results and the stadium. He has made it clear that Milan must act on a cash flow basis, not spending more than they make.

He hopes that this strategy will be enough to at least secure sporting results on the pitch, with a main focus on Champions League qualification. And the stadium, of course, will help skyrocket revenue and enable more investments on the market.
