GdS: What Lukaku told his agents after learning of Milan’s interest

News emerged over the past couple of days claiming that AC Milan are interested in signing Romelu Lukaku and have held discussions with his entourage.

As revealed by today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Lukaku is a target for Milan as they look to strengthen their attack and with the sale of Sandro Tonali, the Belgian centre-forward could become affordable.

However, the resistance seems to come from Lukaku who would have let his entourage and the Chelsea management know that he does not want to consider Milan as a destination for the time being, nor Saudi Arabia.

The attacker wants to return to Milano but to Inter, so the idea could fade before it even gets going. The real objective established for Milan’s attack remains Marcus Thuram, for whom Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada are working to try and close an agreement over what would be a free transfer.
