Milan seem to have made the decision that now is the time for Maldini to go out on loan, where he would find opportunities and minutes that Stefano Pioli is currently unable to guarantee him given the strength of the squad and the development that the 20-year-old still has to do.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) report, Milan are particularly in favour of sending Daniel Maldini to Hellas Verona above the other teams that have come forward and expressed an interest.

The Gialloblu in recent years have often focused on talented young players to launch, as seen through the likes of Zaccagni, Kumbulla, Amrabat, Lovato, Silvestri and Rrahmani. Milan are obviously hoping that this can also happen for Daniel Maldini under Gabriele Cioffi.
