Giornale: The reason why Milan have put Kamada’s arrival on standby

AC Milan are still yet to confirm the signing of Japanese attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada and there is a concerning reason as to why as far as he is concerned, a report claims.

As has been reported by Il Giornale (via Milan News), Milan have had the agreement in place for personal terms with Kamada for a long time and he would be joining the club on a free transfer after leaving Eintracht Frankfurt.

The reason he has not yet been signed officially is that Milan can only register one more new non-EU player after the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

They would rather see if signing Samuel Chukwueze for the right wing from Villarreal is viable before they commit to Kamada and use up that registration spot.

It is a delicate situation though as if Chukwueze is not attainable, Kamada could have already decided to move elsewhere so that his future is secured.
