It is no secret that AC Milan have a bit of a midfield puzzle to solve, but they may add another body this summer.

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of talk about Ardon Jashari and Samuele Ricci. However, it seems increasingly likely that Milan will part ways with the Italian this summer, with Ruben Amorim reportedly not a huge fan.

With that said, he will consider a midfield recruitment this summer, it seems. Morten Hjulmand was considered previously, but he has headed to Atletico Madrid now. So, the attention must turn to another target.

A bargain for Milan?

It will not necessarily turn to another nation, though. Indeed, the club are reportedly interested in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who is free to leave Marseille this summer.

Now, according to MilanNews, the Dane could even leave for a ‘bargain price’, with ‘favourable terms’ expected for anyone considering a move for the former Tottenham Hotspur man this summer. Another experienced body, he could be a nice pick-up for a low price.

After the success of Adrien Rabiot since arriving last summer, the Diavolo would hope that the Dane could have a similar effect, even if he wouldn’t start as many games as the Frenchman is expected to this season.
