There have been a lot of questions regarding how exactly AC Milan and Inter plan to finance their new stadium project, given the enormity of the investment required.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) have dedicated a section of their newspaper today to the project, which is titled: “New stadium Milan and Inter: expenditure of 260 million each.”
The total cost of the new stadium is approximately €1.3bn, which will be covered by a twenty-year loan at 4.5% interest, for 60% of the total amount. The expenditure for Milan and Inter, – according to the Economic and Financial Plan drawn up by the Pts company – is approximately €260m.
The remaining 40% will therefore be paid in equal parts by Inter and Milan through a vehicle based on future revenues, so it will not be an instant expense required.
Meanwhile, the latest obstacle to overcome is the confusion regarding what will happen to the existing agreement the clubs have in place with the street vendors that currently operate around San Siro.
