Zlatan Ibrahimovic could make his long-awaited return from injury for AC Milan when the Rossoneri take on Monza on Saturday evening, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the Swedish striker is set to be named on the bench by Stefano Pioli and there is a chance that he will play the late stages of the game.
He has been out since last summer when he had knee surgery and he returned to the bench for the game against Torino but did not feature.
If Milan are chasing a goal in Monza or are enjoying a comfortable lead, he could get his first chance of the season to get some minutes on the pitch.
If Ibrahimovic is able to perform to a good level again, it will give Pioli a very useful option in attack given Divock Origi is not playing well when fit.
