AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had a successful check-up following the knee surgery he had three months ago, a report claims.
As has been confirmed to our colleagues at SempreMilan.it today by the club, the Swedish forward had a check-up in Lyon with Dr. Bertrand Sonnery Cottet.
The check-up comes three months after the knee surgery he had to finally put an end to the repetitive issues he has had since his injury at Manchester United in a Europa League game.
He recovered very fast but has suffered aggravations to the injury repeatedly and that kept him out of much of the title-winning campaign under Stefano Pioli.
It was decided that he will undergo surgery even though that would result in a long recovery period which he is currently working through.
After this check-up, he will continue the recovery plan that he has in place with the club and his own people to try and return to the pitch as soon as possible.
