Adli was one of the revelations of a club that failed to bounce back from relegation in 2019-20, losing their play-off 2-1 on aggregate against FC Nantes. He can play either out wide or as a traditional playmaker, but mostly played as a second striker last season with 8 goals and 7 assists in 33 league appearances, earning him the title of Ligue 2 Player of the Year which has attracted interest from several clubs.
According to the latest from journalist Ekrem Konur on Twitter, Milan have made a formal offer to Toulouse for Adli of €4m, which has triggered negotiations between the Italian club and the Ligue 2 side. The asking price that has been set for the 21-year-old does not seem to be a prohibitive figure, as Toulouse would sell for €6m.
