Given the situation in the standings, currently in eighth place, Milan are in desperate need of reinforcements in January. The midfield has been mentioned as a must for the Rossoneri and they are monitoring several names for that department.
However, as highlighted by TMW’s Niccolo Ceccarini in an interview with MilanNews, Milan also have a dream midfield signing for the summer: Samuele Ricci. The Italian has been linked with the club in the past and it seems a proper attempt will be made in six months.
“There is Ricci, who is the big dream for next season. He won’t move in January and Cairo said so too. He’s a big target but it depends on how much Torino will ask and on the competition,” he stated.
There haven’t been conclusive reports on the price tag, but the 23-year-old will probably cost around €30m in the summer. In other words, it would be a significant investment and the management have to make sure they get it right.
