Repubblica: Milan to make one final contract offer to both Kessie and Romagnoli

AC Milan have not fully given up on renewing the contract of Franck Kessie and Alessio Romagnoli and will make them another offer, a report claims.

According to La Repubblica, the Rossoneri are willing to make one final bid to both Kessie and Romagnoli because of how important Stefano Pioli considers the pair to be to his plans. It seems as though it will be ultimatum to the Ivorian and the Italian though, a ‘take it or leave it’ contract offer with a verdict awaited before Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara begin to plan for life without them.

Should the midfielder decide to leave then it seems as though he will have a lucrative market outside of Italy with a number of clubs linked from Spurs and PSG to Barcelona and Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Romagnoli’s vast Serie A experience has seen him linked with both Juventus and Lazio in recent weeks, and agent Mino Raiola will no doubt be shopping around to find the best deal for his client.
