La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report this morning that Lazio are awaiting responses from Dinamo Zagreb regarding Dominguez and Fluminense regarding Kennedy. In the meantime, they are considering a move for another midfielder.
With the move for the Dane Asp Jensen off the table (he chose Deportivo La Coruña) the Biancocelesti are now evaluating other options. They are interested in the Croatian player Stojković, also from Dinamo Zagreb, but the costs are high (around €15m).
Musah for Gattuso?
In the last few hours a new idea has begun to circulate among the Lazio directors: Yunus Musah. The American is a wild card who can play in various positions, including as a wing-back.
The former Valencia man returned to Milan after his loan spell with Atalanta, who decided not to buy him permanently. Ruben Amorim wants to evaluate him and it is not excluded that he will ask the club to let him stay, but an exit remains the most likely scenario.
Two English clubs – Leeds and Ipswich – have been interested in him, but at the moment neither have made a real move. Lazio are thus trying to insert themselves into the race, and they are preparing a bid: a €2m loan fee and an €18m option to buy.
The buy-out, however, cannot be mandatory because Lazio cannot make future economic commitments. We must understand whether this formula will get Milan’s approval, but much will depend on the moves of Leeds and Ipswich.
