In recent days, the price of the Gila deal has been discussed heavily. Atalanta reportedly had a fee of around €25 million agreed, but it seems that Milan will not be able to benefit from such a discount. Instead, they will have to pay the full €30m.
Considering that the Rossoneri have a €27m offer on the table, they are not too far away from matching that valuation and things could certainly be finalised soon. In fact, the suggestion is that a deal could be wrapped up by tomorrow (Tuesday).
Milan looking to Calvani
As MilanVibes relays from Tuttosport, the deal could actually be aided by the inclusion of a young talent from the Laziali, whom the Diavolo have also been considering a move for.
Indeed, Lorenzo Calvani could also join the club in the deal to help the parties reach the €30m package which will be required. It would see the club pay around €25m for the Spaniard, with another €5m (or so) for the youngster.
Confidence should remain high, especially with Gila’s agent trying to push a move through. It may just be a case of waiting now, really.
