Leao reveals background on Milan move: “When Maldini calls you, I couldn’t refuse”

AC Milan winger Rafael Leao has revealed that the call of Paolo Maldini was influential in convincing him to join back in the summer of 2019.

Leao arrived from Lille and after promising but inconsistent campaigns in his first two seasons, he has exploded this year, netting 11 goals and adding 6 assists across all competitions. Now there is talk of him being worth €50m+, and on Instagram he gave some background on his arrival.
