AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli needs the best version of Rafael Leao between now and the end of the season, as the forward is suffering somewhat of a drought.

MilanNews writes how the Portuguese winger has unique physical and technical skills that allow him to break games open like nobody else in the squad can, but in the last month his performances have dropped and there has been no help around him to help shoulder the weight of high expectations.
After the goal against Udinese, Leao has not scored and frankly he is finding less isolation situations than a month and a half ago which implies a change in approach from opponents. Nonetheless, he is still a very useful resource and Milan need him in this final rush.
The report mentions how there has been speculation of bids from €70m from abroad and if that amount were really on the table it would be hard to say no, but for now Leao must stay, continue to develop and hopefully sign a renewal.
